Jazz Galore Strike Up Again for Local Events
Much‑loved local jazz group Jazz Galore are back performing and are inviting enquiries for community events, fêtes, and private parties across the area.
The band, originally formed in the mid‑1990s, has long been a fixture at village gatherings. Despite the challenges of the Covid pandemic and a few health setbacks along the way, the group has remained determined to keep playing. Rehearsals continue at Layham Village Hall, where the musicians—still very much young at heart—have been preparing for a busy season ahead.
Their set list spans a wide range of jazz standards and favourites, including Honeysuckle Rose, Moonlight in Vermont, All of Me, Watermelon Man, Bags’ Groove, and Moonglow.
The band asks only for modest expenses and a warm, welcoming audience.

Selion Jazz Band
